| The Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) is a

Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network |

| Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (the Network) provides health care to adults and young people in contact with the forensic mental health and criminal justice systems in NSW. Each year, the Network’s staff care for more than 30,000 patients in over 100 locations across the state, including correctional centres, youth justice centres, inpatient settings, courts, police cells, and in the community. The Network provides multidisciplinary health services to patients, including primary care, drug and alcohol, mental health, population health, women’s and midwifery care, oral health, Aboriginal health, youth health, and a range of allied health services. As part of the NSW public health system, we are uniquely positioned to respond to the health needs of these individuals who commonly have had minimal contact with mainstream health services in the community.

| The Nursing and Midwifery Office (NaMO) provide advice on professional
nursing and midwifery issues and on policy issues, monitor policy implementation,
manage State-wide nursing and midwifery projects and initiatives. NaMO continues to partner with the Local Health Districts and Specialty Networks in various Practice Development, leadership and workplace culture programs that support the delivery of safe, quality, and compassionate care. |

of Practice Development Units of the University Hospitals Basel |

The Practice Development Unit's of the University Hospitals - Basel, Berne and Zurich have established a network to promote evidence-based nursing practice and person-centred practice development. This cooperation has been in place since 15 years and in 2012, we became a member of the International Practice Development Collaboration (IPDC) represented by Kathrin Hirter and Irena Anna Frei. The three University Hospitals are among the five leading medical centres in Switzerland with a highly, internationally recognised standard. The professionals and especially nursing and allied health professionals, ensure the well-being, safety and recovery of the patients and their families on the basis of the latest state-of-the-art knowledge. Collaboration with the respective universities and the globally leading life science companies, strengthen innovations in all medical disciplines at the highest level. This knowledge transfer also benefits teaching and research as well as training and further education to a marked extent. The Network of the Practice Development Units shares the perspective of sustaining and strengthening person-centred practice development beyond their own organisations. The IPDC membership has been beneficial for the Network in that we have been able to build international relationships with researchers and practitioners committed to person-centred practice development. Their knowledge and skills have enabled us to broaden our expertise. The membership has also given us the opportunity to collaborate on research projects and theoretical concepts and to contribute to publications. |

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is one of the largest local health districts in Sydney, covering a geographical area of 468 square kilometers from Sydney’s central business district to the Royal National Park.
